Baking Soda Fungicide

Spray lightly on the foliage of plants infected with black spot, powdery mildew, brown patch and other fungal diseases. Take care nbot to over-use or pour onto the soil. Potassium bicarbonate is a good substitute for baking soda.

Neem Oil
Extracts from neem have shown incedible success with not only battling fungus problems but also many forms of root rot. Mix 15grams of Neem oil with 2 litres of water. Add a little soap to the water. Spray on the whole plant, including the pot. Use a weaker concentration for maintenance. Don't mix more than you need. Neem is also excellent as an:
antispectic
antiviral
anti-inflammatory
antiulcer

Cornmeal Juice
Soak horticultural cornmeal in water at 1/2 a cup per 2 litres of water. Put the cornmeal a nylon stocking bag, or cheescloth, to hold in the larger particles. The milky juice of the cornmeal will diffuse into the water and this mix should be sprayed without further diluting. Cornmeal Juice is a natural fungal control for use in any kind of sprayer.
