This SMALL HANGING FLY CATCHER or FLY TRAP from GREENHAND is perfect for collecting live flies to feed your frogs, reptiles or spiders and will save lots of time and money and keep your pets happy.

They will also catch flies right through winter and save you a bundle on frog food.

Any bait may be used, liver, meat, fish etc. Best to use fresh and keep moist. Just hang near fly hot spots. Attracted to the bait, the flies then leave the tray, traveling up the cone and cant find their way out.

The trap is constructed of UV stable mesh, steel rings and clips with a plastic bait tray and with care will last several seasons.

With no poisons needed, this totally safe and eco-friendly way of catching flies will amaze you by how quickly it works.

There are several ways of removing live flies from the trap. My favourite is to place the trap in a plastic shopping bag and then place the bag in the fridge for 10 mins or the freezer for one and then shake the sleeping flies like black peppercorns into a jar. Don't freeze them as they'll die. When they warm up they are away...

Another way (pictured) is to turn the trap upside down and invert the cone holding the mouth closed. Most of the flies move up and you can then collapse the trap and put it in with your frogs etc with the cone still protruding like a witches hat and the flies will come out into the terrarium. The frogs will be waiting....
