I have a problem with something eating new growth on new citrus trees. It is something small because I never see it. I could control it with a fish fertilizer but cannot now procure the one that helped the most.
Does anyone know what it might be.
My garden at the moment is infested with whitefly through everything - even the weeds. Will it be killed off during the winter.

look closer, take a photo and post it on here or a website...
lots of insects chew, but if it's only a little damage then don't worry, enough tree to go around hopefully. Insects rarely destroy an entire plant (its their habitat after all)...
If the damage is excessive there's an imbalance of "life" on your property. Many ways to tackle this... a) do nothing b) spray it with an insecticide until it (and most other organisms) are dead c) grow other plants around your garden which promote natural insect predators like parasitic wasps - this could be yarrow for example d) find the insect and collect some of them - crush up and leave in some water for a few days, spray the tree with it... it's full of pathogens specific to making the insect sick...
