 What can I do with compost? Posted 9 Feb 12 10:18 AM
Hi. We're new to gardening and have two compost heaps. The thing is, what do we do with all the compost? Of course, I can add it to the vege garden before planting new vege crops. But most of our garden is shrubs/flowers - don't see how I can dig compost in around them without damaging their roots and/or making a mess. Also a lot of the garden has bark mulch, so even harder to add compost! Any ideas? It seems a shame to make all this compost and have no use for it! Thanks for your feedback...
