Garden description: Raised planter boxes, clad in timber, on a grassed terrace. The terrace and garden in designed as a 'pottage', and influenced by English walled gardens, with a recycled brick clad retaining wall holding the hill at bay. The rest of the hill is planted in native trees, with a board walk down to a lower terraced lawn and timber 'observation' deck. Planting layout designed and installed by Karl Odell from Oderings in Christchurch - brilliant job, I highly recommend him.
